 VACANCIES: SUDANESE REFERENDUM OUT OF COUNTRY REGISTRATION VOTING (OCRV) 

The OCRV UK team is urgently looking for Sudanese nationals from the South of Sudan who are able to start work in London immediately for the position of Identifier for approximately three weeks, beginning on 10th November

Identifiers should be senior experienced people / leaders from within the South Sudanese community. They will be identifying applicants where documentation is insufficient. Requirements: in-depth familiarity with South Sudanese communities in UK, detailed knowledge of South Sudan’s geography, languages/dialects and ethnic groups/tribes. Indicative salary – US$140 per day.
Deadline for submission of application for the above positions is: the end of Tuesday 2 November.
 
How to apply: Please send a CV which includes the following information to ocrvofficeuk@iom.int
Your age, place of birth, languages spoken, mobile telephone number, and email address where possible confirmation of strong connections with the South Sudanese community in the UK. The names, positions and contact numbers and emails for two referees.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 4 November in London.
All applicants must be legally permitted to work in the UK and will be required to bring original documentary evidence to interview.

 SUDANESE SUMMIT

The Sudanese Summit taking place at the Nairobi National Museum, Louis Leakey Audotorium in  Nairobi Kenya, November 23-25th 2010, is the brain child of Rapper Emmanuel Jal,  and his partners, actor and model Ger Duany, Athlete Lopez Lomong and activist David Nyol Vincent.

All four former lost boys, child-soldiers and refugees living in diaspora are doing this event in aid of educating, empowering and preparing the youth and the Southern Sudanese people, for the upcoming referendum through a two day eventful summit comprised of international guests, guest speakers, musical performances and dinners!
